At the age of eighteen she became a nanny for three years for two wonderful girls, Mandy and Molly. She graduated and received her GED in 1993. The same year she married Phillip. They moved to Paragould, Arkansas and now reside in Lafe, Arkansas, where Bonnie’s mother was born. Bonnie has been married for more than twenty years and has two grown step-children, Samantha and Thomas; one child in college, Anna; and one in high school, Jacob. Bonnie’s hobbies include gardening, playing the piano, and traveling. She has a love for animals, especially horses. She has raised pigs, chickens, ducks, and rabbits on her small farm. Bonnie loved to read when she was growing up and remembers fondly of her Aunt Ruth taking her and her mom to the library regularly. She has always wanted to write, but wasn’t able to until now. This is her first children’s book.
